We recently moved and unfragmented a large 6000 square foot file system. The move was done across town in 6 days without overtime using 3 large tractor trailer trucks and 150 library book carts. Office Planning Group was called upon to do this move just two weeks before the project needed to start and was given up to 10 days to complete. We came in ahead of project requirement without cost overrun.
We recently installed 8000 square foot of file folder shelving into a 4000 square foot space on a mobile shelving system. We completed the task in less than 30 days on time on budget. That is over 400 sections of shelving on rolling carriages on 105' long tracks attached and leveled within 1/8" across the entire 4000 square foot area. The job required the crew to work 10 hour days with Easter Sunday the only day off. Space was an issue. We used several trailers to receive and stage incoming product adjacent to the work site during the 30 days.
October 4th of 2007 we were called to move a Medical Record department of a large hospital. They had been planning to move over a period of months using existing personnel but expansion construction schedule suddenly changed and they needed immediate help. One week later we delivered all new shelving and moved their department in 2 days. They are ecstatic and so are we for the opportunity to help meet their mission critical business process.
